She utilizes gentle Japanese Meridian/Channel theory and eight extraordinary theories as a framework to work with your internal systems.
Within the last 10 years she has been working with the vagal system, specifically with regards to moving through trauma. Along with acupuncture, she may incorporate sound therapies, breathwork, herbs, supplements, and gua sha in a session. She is also experienced and comfortable utilizing functional diagnostic labs and tends to use the Chinese herbal formulas within this framework. She enjoys collaborating with other doctors in order to get you the support you need for your unique health situation. She loves to learn new things, research issues and new to her products. Her particular focus is in women’s health and LGTBQ+ health. She is passionate about offering accessible quality healthcare for all of Portlands communities!
Dr Aubrey is proficient with working with anxieties, depression, gastrointestinal dysfunctions, hormone imbalances, adrenal fatigue, and stubborn chronic inflammatory conditions. Lastly, before becoming an Acupuncturist, Aubrey was a bodyworker for many years. Her favorite medium to work in is warm water. She studied WATSU (water shiatsu) Waterdance, Healing Dance, and Aquatic Integration from amazing teachers all around the world. These water sessions can be quite profound, and offer a safe space to unravel, journey, and rejuvenate. As part of a non profit project, Dr Aubrey will be fundraising to build a warm water therapy pool in the NE Portland OR area! “Aubrey is an amazingly gifted practitioner and a truly insightful and caring human being. I've been to many acupuncturists and I can say without reservation that she is one of the best. Aubrey is a modern day medicine woman and I feel blessed to have found her.” Jill M.
“I have been seeing Aubrey for about a year; I have worked with many acupuncturists over the course of my 20 year health career. I am a retired Holistic Health Practitioner, so I am very versed in many modalities of alternative health care and Aubrey’s passion and skill for her practice is most noticeable. She is not only aware of her clients’ needs but also very proactive in giving them the information and guidance they need to make the best choices for their health needs. I respect and appreciate Aubrey as a person and health care provider.” Monica Lucas, H.H.P, RYI, CPCC, CHT
"Aubrey is a very caring practitioner. She listens well and asks the right questions to understand how she needs to treat your issues. I completely trust Aubrey. She has helped me greatly with many physical concerns. If you have any issues that require attention, I highly recommend Aubrey. You won’t be disappointed." Carole Bloom, cookbook author and yoga teacher
